SEI Rolls Out New York Compliant Gas Lock for SOCOM 16
This is our new release New York Compliant gas lock for the SOCOM 16 rifle. This is our part number 2001GL-NY. This is not a flash hider or muzzle brake, but allows New Yorkers to keep their SOCOM 16s and keeps the gas system in tact. If you want this part call (480) 964-1818 to order. We can also make this part for the M14 and M1A.

How many "compliant" SOCOM owners order this part will be of great interest to the rest of NY gun owners.
ReplyDeletewhat's the cost?
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! Very interested in one for my M1A NM as I still want to continue to shoot in matches. Nice to SEI stepping up to help out.
ReplyDeleteInteresting for sure & cost will be a factor also,,guess a phone call is in order !! On the other hand,,you are still dealing with a evil "threaded" barrel,,so I would think it would have to be perm. attached !!! Welded I guess !! Still looks good.
ReplyDeleteI refuse to change the design of my gun because of some ignorant politicians
ReplyDeleteThis will require the threads on the barrel to be removed first I presume
ReplyDeleteIt's threaded so I don't understand how this is legal.
ReplyDeleteThere appears to be two sections to this device. The gas lock and the end cap. The gas lock would screw on the existing barrel threads and the end cap would screw on the gas lock. In order to make it NY compliant, the gas lock would have to be spot welded to the barrel
